Known Issues
Larger data types, such as double-precision numerics, might be coerced to a smaller data type, such as a single-precision numeric, without warning or error when you target a DSP depending on the capabilities of the processor.
Smaller data types, such as 8-bit integers, might be converted to larger data types, such as 32-bit integers, without warning or error when you target a DSP depending on the capabilities of the processor.
The square root of a negative number returns zero.
The Natural Logarithm function and the Logarithm Base 10 function return 0 rather than NaN if x is a negative number.
Infinity does not have a special bit encoding on DSP targets and so, +/- Infinity is mapped to the respective maximum and minimum value for the data type.
On the LabVIEW DSP Module Status Monitor window, the memory usage cannot exceed approximately 97.5% due to memory fragmentation on the DSP.
When you place an Express VI on a block diagram, the configuration dialog box does not automatically display. Double-click the Express VI on the block diagram to open the configuration dialog box.
Unsigned integers are not supported when you are targeted to a DSP.
Scalar uninitialized shift registers start with their default value each time you run a DSP VI with a DSP execution target, even if no edits are made to the VI. SPEEDY-33 If you are using the SPEEDY-33 Robot Daughter Module with the SPEEDY-33 execution target, you cannot use the Digital Input, Digital Output, Digital Bank Input, or Digital Bank Output Elemental I/O Nodes because they share the same hardware resources.
6713 DSK You must run a VI before you can download any VI to flash memory. The VI you run does not have to be the same VI you want to download to Flash memory.
