COMPRESS - Simplify ASME VIII Code Calculations
Let COMPRESS be your expert assistant. From individual components to complex multiple diameter towers, COMPRESS can model virtually any geometry. This makes COMPRESS the tool of choice for fabrication shops, engineering and construction companies and vessel owner/operators.

The standard functionality of COMPRESS includes everything needed to perform ASME Section VIII, Division 1 (VIII-1) pressure vessel calculations. This includes both the U.S. Customary and Metric Editions of Section II, Part D (materials) and a selection of Building Codes and related Engineering Standards, such as WRC-107. To further assist COMPRESS users, finite element analysis of nozzles is now included as a standard feature.

COMPRESS generates both detailed and abbreviated reports, the former suitable for use as a calculation audit trail. View a detailed sample COMPRESS report. COMPRESS also generates ASME U forms and NBIC R forms. Once finalized, forms can be saved in PDF or EDT compliant format. EDT compliant files can be directly submitted to the National Board electronically. To simplify document management, a new "Project" feature allows users to organize, view and backup files of any type from within COMPRESS.
