Since we started four years ago, until today TREPCAD has been sold more than 500 times to users mostly in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Right now, we offer our software in English, too. Since we know that in other countries stairs are built differently, we would like to hear your comments. The new TREPCAD has a direct connection to AutoCAD. Now you can exchange stairs in an easy way with more comfort not only with MegaCAD but with AutoCAD too. Nevertheless it is possible to export stairs as DXF-files for other CAD-Systems. TREPCAD with new interfaces 2005-02-10 We have taken the important decision to enable a seamless data exchange with other CAD programs. For a beginning we have integrated an interface that allows TREPCAD to be started directly from MegaCAD. In the near future an IFC / STEP interface will make an exchange of complex 3D staircase data possible. Guardrail module in sight February 2005 Our guardrail module has reached a status that we soon can send a first version to our beta-testers for evaluation. For a start our straight flight guardrails are possible as railings or railings with bars. Handrails are also continuous at change of direction and all measurements for mounting are included. Guardrails will be sold as an additional module but integrated in TREPCAD.
